GREENBRIER COUNTY SOLID WASTE AUTHORITY
GREENBRIER COUNTY, WEST VIRGINIA
Building Repair / Stabilization.
Sealed bids will be accepted by the Greenbrier County Solid Waste Authority at 450 Monroe Avenue, Ronceverte, West Virginia, 24970 or by email at grecycle450@gmail.com until 2:00 PM, October 30, 2024, for work relating to the stabilization of a building foundation.
The project site is the Greenbrier County Recycle Center, located at 450 Monroe Avenue, Ronceverte, in Greenbrier County, West Virginia.

Bid shall include the following:
1. A full description of how the repairs/stabilization of the building will be completed.
2. Diagram showing the repairs and stabilizing of the building.
3. Total cost of repairs, labor, materials, and any other costs associated with this project.
Requirements as follows:
1. Magnum Piering Helical Piles MG325BR with a minimum 6-inch uncased group column for the entire pile length are required to stabilize the foundation.
2. The helical piles need to be extended roughly 11 to 17 feet through the sandy and rocky substrata to bedrock and installed to rock refusal or rated torque refusal conditions in dense granular deposits.
3. Helical piles should have 3 bearing plates (8”, 10”, and 12”) diameters.
4. Must use a minimum compressive strength of 4,000 psi grout around the round shafts.
5. Connection of the helical piles to the existing footings need to be accomplished by using the standard L-brackets.
6. Successful bidder will be required to provide licensing, proof of insurance, certification for installation of Magnum Piering Helical Piles, and obtain any permits that may be required if necessary.
All bidding documents must be submitted by October 30, 2024 at 2:00 PM.
No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the time of the opening of bids. Any contractor submitting a bid on this project hereby certifies, indicates, and acknowledges that he/she is familiar with the project, has a valid WV Contractor’s license, and meets the qualifications required by the statutes of the State and County in which the work is to be performed. The Greenbrier County Solid Waste Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids in whole or part.
