CHARMCO- Greenbrier West’s Evan Vandall was the top vote getter this weekend and has been named the West Virginia Daily News ‘Football Friday’ player of the week for week one of the new high school football season.
The Cavaliers lost their opener to Pendleton County, but Vandall did what he could to keep his team close. He completed 4-of-5 passes for 99 yards and threw a 35-yard TD pass to Issac Agee.
Vandall also added 21 yards on the ground.
