Rosa Lee Blake, 91, of Frankford, WV, passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2019, at the Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care Center in Hudson, NC.
Born on September 3, 1928, in Maxwelton, WV, she was the daughter of George Washington and Plina Susan Loudermilk Withrow.
Rosa was a member of the Henning Church of God and the American Legion Auxiliary.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Cecil Blake; daughter, Carol Shelton; granddaughter, Nathaslia Shelton; and eight siblings.
Survivors include one son, Robert Blake (Debbie) of Hudson; daughter, Gloria Jean Loudermilk (Phillip) of Wingate, NC; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be at noon on Thursday, October 24, 2019, at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel, 252 Montvue Drive, Lewisburg, WV 24901, with Pastor Rick Hefner officiating. Burial will follow at the Rosewood Cemetery in Lewisburg.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, Thursday, at the funeral home.
