Brenda Sue Cohernour, 66, of Renick, WV, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2019, at her home.
Born on July 31, 1953, in Marlinton, WV, she was the daughter of Elwood and Launa Marie Crane Barkley.
Brenda loved going to flea markets. She often attended the flea markets in Fairlea, WV, Pence Springs, WV, and Roanoke, VA. She had worked at Kellwood for a while, and then became a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepmother, Phyllis Poage Barkley; sisters, Phyllis Cox and Teresa Johnston; and a niece, Launa Barkley.
Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Ronald Cohernour; brothers, Ricky Barkley (Ollie) of Marlinton, David and Brian Barkley of Renick, and Scott Barkley (Melissa), also of Renick; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, September 25, 2019, at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel, 252 Montvue Drive, Lewisburg, WV 24901, with nephews Caleb and Joshua Barkley officiating. Burial will follow in the McMillion Cemetery in Friars Hill, WV.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, Wednesday, at the funeral home.
