Eva Mae Holesapple, 98, of Anthony, WV, passed away into her eternal home on Monday, September 23, 2019, at The Brier nursing center in Fairlea, WV.
Eva was a member of the Anthony Baptist Church. She was loved and respected by all.
She was affectionately known as Granny Eva and will always be remembered for her delicious Sunday dinners. Eva was a long-time employee of Burlington Mills (22 years) in White Sulphur Springs, WV.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Lula Ingram; and her husband, Ralph V. Holesapple. Eva was the last surviving child, having been preceded in death by sisters, Nellie Grey Ingram, Edith Reed, Leatha Bryant, Maria Seldomridge, Elizabeth Reynolds, and Margaret Rosser; and brothers, Lloyd George Ingram and Loy Freeman Ingram.
Those left to cherish the precious memories of their loving mother are daughter, Roberta Jackson of Anthony; and sons, Samual A. Banton Jr. (Elizabeth) of Maxwelton, WV, and Jerry L. Banton (Susan) of Lewisburg, WV. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at the McCraw Funeral Home on Thursday, September 26, 2019. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Services begin at 1 p.m., with Minster Lloyd Camp officiating.
Burial will follow at the Morning Side Cemetery in Renick, WV.
Family members will serve as pallbearers.
McCraw Funeral Home in Lewisburg is in charge of arrangements.
