The Greenbrier County Board of Education held their first meeting of the 2019-2020 school year, making full use of its new space, the Kyle & Ann Fort Arts & Sciences Building at New River COmmunity and Technical College.
To start the meeting, the board heard a presentation and proclamation for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, which takes place each September and highlights the scope of this illness. The proclamation designates Wednesday, September 18, as Go Gold Day in support of childhood cancer awareness.
