CHAPMANVILLE W.Va. (WVDN) – A domestic call in Chapmanville ended with one man hospitalized and another person in jail. The West Virginia State Police released the following statement:
“On Saturday, June 29, 2024, Senior Trooper R.L. Morgan was dispatched to a Domestic situation on Jimmy Drive in the community of Chapmanville, WV.
“Senior Trooper Morgan observed the victim, 57-year-old, Brandon Conley’s right leg to be broken and bleeding profusely. Senior Trooper Morgan applied a tourniquet along with bandages to help control the bleeding. Mr. Conley was flown to CAMC General Hospital.
“Senior Trooper Morgan was able to determine during his investigation that the accused, 57-year-old Billie Jean Conley had struck the victim with their Dodge Ram 1500.
“Billie Jean Conley was charged with Malicious Assault and Domestic Battery. Billie Jean Conley was remanded to the Southwestern Regional Jail without further incident. This investigation is ongoing.”
