BECKLEY W.Va. (WVDN) – New River Community and Technical College announces that due to inclement weather and road conditions, the start time for the first game of the New River CTC Invitational on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, Independence vs. James Monroe, has been moved to 2:45 p.m. This change is being made to allow additional time for roadways to be cleared and to increase the likelihood of the games proceeding as scheduled.
Organizers said, “We are currently working closely with local school boards and administrators to assess the situation and determine if any additional changes to the schedule are necessary. We appreciate your understanding and will provide further updates as soon as possible.”
