Thomas Edward Reed, age 90, of White Sulphur Springs, WV, passed away Saturday, February 16, 2019, at Peyton Hospice House in Lewisburg, WV.
Born November 7, 1928, at White Sulphur Springs, he was the only child of Luther Franklin and Emma Gray Jones Reed.
Thomas was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church in White Sulphur Springs, and was retired from The Greenbrier hotel.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Kenton Reed.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Myrtle Belle Kessinger Reed; a daughter, Ceda Jean Reed (and companion, Bill Burghy) of Morgantown, WV; and a son, Curtis Edward Reed (Debbie) of White Sulphur Springs.
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, February 20, 2019, at Emmanuel United Methodist Church in White Sulphur Springs, with Pastor Shari Stilgenbauer officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until time of the service on Wednesday.
