LEWISBURG, W.Va. (WVDN) – Don your sombreros and grab your appetite – Lewisburg’s beloved First Fridays After Five series throws its final fiesta this Friday, May 3, with a special “Nacho Mama’s First Friday” theme.
For years, First Fridays After Five has been a mainstay, transforming downtown Lewisburg into a vibrant hub. From April to December, shops, galleries, and restaurants welcomed visitors with extended hours, live music, artist demonstrations and refreshments.
This “Nacho Mama’s First Friday” marks the bittersweet end of an era. After a successful run, the First Fridays After Five series is concluding. Organizers are encouraging the community to come out and celebrate the final event with a festive atmosphere and a chance to experience local businesses.
While details about specific events are forthcoming, the “Nacho Mama’s First Friday” theme hints at a fun-filled evening with a Mexican flair. Attendees can expect Cinco de Mayo celebrations, tastings of delicious food and drinks and more.
