FAIRLEA- After over 16,000 total votes, Greenbrier East baseball’s Peyton DeHaven is the final West Virginia Daily News Diamond player of the week. DeHaven led the Spartans in runs scored last week and also added a double to his stat line. As always, his defense was superb as well. This is DeHaven’s first time winning the award.
As stated above, this is the final week of the voting. Once postseason play begins, we no longer have the polls, and the Greenbrier East Lady Spartans begin sectionals this Tuesday, April 30.
