Along with his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Roy, Howard, and Roger Hoke; a sister, Linda Hoke; a grandson, Luke Griffin; a granddaughter, Melissa Isaacs; and a great-grandchild, Jaiden Griffin.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2018, at 1 p.m. at Forrest Run Community Holiness Church in West Virginia. Dinner will follow the service, and covered dishes will be appreciated.
