CHARLESTON W.Va. (WVDN) – The National Park Service is accepting applications for their Semiquincentennial Grant Program. The Semiquincentennial Grant Program is intended to support buildings, structures, sites, districts, and objects that commemorate the nation’s founding. To be eligible for this funding, the structure must be listed on or eligible for listing on the National Register of Historic Places. The program offers a range of awards that can be used to fund resource plans and studies, as well as physical preservation projects. Applications are due March 5.
