GREENBRIER COUNTY W.Va. (WVDN) – The Greenbrier County Republican Club and the Greenbrier County Democratic Women’s Club are pleased to announce a successful collaborative food drive to benefit the County’s 10 food banks and pantries. They are very grateful for all the people who contributed.

Each food bank will receive a share of the bounty collected and will receive a share of monetary contributions. Monetary contributions are used to purchase additional supplies to round out the items made available to recipients.

“Once we sorted through and divided the donations we were amazed at the generosity of our community,” stated Gloria Martin of the Lewisburg/Fairlea Food Pantry. The success of this food drive was made possible through the collaboration of the two clubs focused on meeting the needs of Greenbrier County residents.
