GREENBRIER COUNTY W.Va. (WVDN) – Chad and Susan McCoy began their 4-H journey when their son was in 4-H but did not become official volunteers until their daughter started 4-H 4 years ago. From day one, they have attended every club meeting, every activity, all county-wide activities and every fundraising event the organization has had, and they hardly ever say no. Chad and Susan have given in other ways such as grading the overwhelming number of livestock project books, donating money or goods when needed, and playing Bingo every year during the annual camp fundraiser. For the past two years, they have taken on the Purebred Sheep Superintends role at the State Fair of West Virginia and working through many obstacles. Chad also has become a Board of Director for the Greenbrier/Monroe Youth Livestock Association serving for two years. Chad and Susan are exceptional volunteers who would do anything for the youth of Greenbrier County.
