RAINELLE, W.Va. (WVDN) – God’s Way Home, a beacon of hope and recovery in Rainelle, West Virginia, and Christopher Clay are collaborating on a book launch fundraiser. The event, set for Saturday, Oct. 14, 2023, will raise funds for the work of God’s Way Home in support of those seeking recovery from addiction and spotlight Clay’s new book, Five Principles for a Meaningful, Fruitful Life, set for broad release on Oct. 17, 2023.

God’s Way Home, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, has been at the forefront of combating drug and alcohol addiction in the region. Their mission is to introduce men to the transformative power of Jesus Christ, guiding them toward a life free from addiction and enabling them to become effective, productive members of their communities through the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6).

This event, titled “Community, Relationships, and a Fruitful Life” will be held at Rainelle United Methodist Church at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 14, 2023.

Event Highlights:

  • A powerful presentation about the importance of community, the value of relationships, and living fruitful lives of meaning in a chaotic world.
  • Attendees will receive signed copies of the book.
  • A communal lunch, fostering discussions, and a question and answer (Q&A) session.

Ticket Tiers:

  1. Supporter: At $50, this includes an event ticket, a signed softcover book, lunch, and access to the Q&A session.
  2. Meaningful Supporter: For $75, attendees get an event ticket, a signed hardcover book, lunch, and the Q&A session.
  3. Principled Supporter: At $150, this premium package offers an event ticket, two signed books (both hard and softcover), the lunch Q&A session, and a follow-up one-on-one session with the author.

*All proceeds from the event will be donated to God’s Way Home.

The collaboration between God’s Way Home and Christopher Clay aims to emphasize the importance of community, the value of relationships, and being conscientious of the individual principles by which we live. Five Principles for a Meaningful, Fruitful Life serves as a testament to the timeless wisdom that can guide individuals toward a life of meaning. The work of God’s Way Home represents this wisdom in action on a daily basis as they seek to help those trying to recover the path towards a life of meaning in Christ.
