RAINELLE, W.Va. – Just in time for the Memorial Day holiday, Rainelle Medical Center honored fallen West Virginia soldiers by placing flags on its front lawn. Each flag represented one soldier in its Garden of Honor.
Additionally, members of The American Legion of U.S. Veterans visited the 5th grade class at Smoot Elementary. Students were shown proper etiquette of how the U.S. flag is handled and show proper disposal procedures.
