WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W.Va. (WVDN) – Singer/songwriter Rikki Bell will perform a free concert featuring her original songs and stories at the White Sulphur Springs Public Library on Thursday, May 11, at 6 p.m.
Bell’s music, inspired by her lifelong journey through the Appalachian Highlands, can be found on her CD “The Curious Heart.” The artist has previously performed at notable venues such as the Berklee Performance Center in Boston and Tamarack in Beckley, as well as various local establishments.
The hourlong concert will showcase Bell’s lilting melodies, gentle rhythms and hard-scrabble lyrics characteristic of Appalachian music. Light refreshments will be served following the performance.
