I’d like everyone to meet Tillie. Tillie is an 8-year-old female cat that is up for adoption by the Greenbrier Humane Society. The Humane Society is currently experiencing what they call “kitten season,’ as the shelter is full of kittens; meanwhile, older gals like Tillie are also looking for a forever home, as well.
As animal lovers, it’s our pleasure to conduct our Humane Society item drive every April, and we appreciate all of the members of our community who have dropped off items. So far, we’ve collected 77 items. Our goal is to collect 2,000 items by April 24; we’ve got a long way to go, and we invite everyone to drop off food or supplies for the Humane Society at our office at 188 Foster Street in Lewisburg between 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday-Thursday, and from 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. on Fridays.
