LEWISBURG, W.Va. (WVDN) – A Lewisburg man has been sentenced to 20-40 years in prison for child sex crimes.
Timothy John Wickline, 34, of Lewisburg, was found guilty in January of sexual abuse by a parent, guardian or custodian, third-degree sexual assault and incest.
On Wednesday, April 5, Wickline was sentenced to 20-40 years for sexual abuse by a parent, guardian or custodian. He was sentenced to 6-20 years for felony incest and sexual assault in the third degree. Those sentences are to be served concurrently.
Wickline was indicted in March 2022 on three counts of sexual abuse by a parent, guardian, custodian or person in position of trust to a child, two counts of incest and two counts of sexual assault in the third degree.
Upon release from prison, Wickline will have to register as a sex offender for the remainder of his life.
Wickline was prosecuted at trial in January by assistant prosecutors Bethany Burdette and Ryan Blake.
Cpl. Matt Doss of the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Office was the investigating officer.
