LEWISBURG, W.Va. (WVDN) – A new personal shopper service is available for areas close to Lewisburg called Cool Cats Delivery.

Cool Cats Delivery’s Bethany Peake is operating her service through the Dumpling app. After downloading the app, customers may choose the store or restaurant and time block they would like delivery. Customers will identify their shopper as Peake by entering the zip code 24901. The customer then pays online for the items purchased and a $12 fee for shopping and delivery, and then Peake gets to work on their order.

A longtime resident of Greenbrier County, Peake said she knew there was a need for a service to aid housebound residents.

Car problems? Health issues? Peake is ready to pick up grocery items from IGA, Kroger, Walmart or Dollar General.

Peake also delivers from Bellacino’s, China Palace or any other fast-food stores in the area, she said. After ordering and paying through the Dumpling app, Peake will text the customer when she has arrived to pick up their order and is headed to their house.

Gamestop, Manic Espresso, Shoe Show … the possibilities are only limited any store in the Lewisburg area.

Currently she has allowed two-hour long blocks per customer, so, according to Peake, “The food should arrive hot!”

This also allows her the time to shop through a large grocery store and then go directly to the customer’s house, so cold things stay cold.

Cool Cats Delivery’s hours of operation are Monday-Friday, from 10 a.m.-6 p.m., and Saturdays from 12-6 p.m. EBT and Snap card services are accepted through Walmart and Kroger, just read the details on her website and it will tell the process of order/delivery information for EBT/Snap purchases. It is slightly detailed because the delivery charge will require a debit card payment.

Right now, communities along Rt. 219 North to the airport and South to Organ Cave and east to Alta are the service area.  As she is a one-woman shopping machine, the travel time is a consideration.

She wants to keep the cost to a flat rate, so that customers are not surprised by surcharges they have experienced with other shopping services, plus the delivery to your door is an important part of her service.

Busy mom, elderly homebound, or just too tired after work to go grocery shopping? Have a hankering for Italian, Asian or McDonalds prepared meals? This could be the best community service happening in the Lewisburg area!

Cool Cats Delivery can be accessed from their Facebook page and at shop.dumpling.us.
