Brent Allen Ball, 37, of Shady Spring, WV, passed away Monday, July 10, 2017, at Wake Forest Baptist Cancer Center in Winston-Salem, NC, following his recent diagnosis of cancer.
He was born October 24, 1979, at Lowmoor, VA, the son of Gail Wilkinson Ball and the late Larry Kenneth Ball.
Brent graduated from Greenbrier East High School in Fairlea, WV, and Mountain State University with a degree in business management. He had been employed by Enterprise Car Rental since 2005 and was currently branch manager for Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Princeton, WV. He was an animal lover, and animals loved Brent. He had a passion for WVU and the Atlanta Falcons.
Survivors include his “better half,” Stephanie Kot; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his canine kids, Khloe, Loki, and Lex.
A visitation will be held Saturday, July 15, 2017, at Rose & Quesenberry Funeral Chapel in Shady Spring from 6-8 PM.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 16, at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Chapel in Lewisburg, WV, with a visitation from 12-2 PM. Services will begin at 2 PM with the Rev. Rick Duncan officiating. Burial will follow at the Andrew Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery in Williamsburg, WV.
In lieu of flowers, friends may make donations of sympathy to the United Way of Southern West Virginia or the Humane Society of choice.
