LEWISBURG, W.Va. (WVDN) – The website, Coalfield and Co., are beginning to roll out their preseason rankings of players at each position as they have in the past, and recently they put out the list of the best running backs in the state of West Virginia.
Coming in at no. 5 was Greenbrier East’s Ian Cline.
Cline’s last two seasons have been phenomenal, but his senior year this fall could be the best.
Last season, Cline ran for 1,255 yards and 17 touchdowns. He also caught 18 passes for 230 yards and two scores.
