The Health Plan to Host Student Engagement Event in Partnership with RISE and Ohio County Growth & Retention Department

Wheeling, W.Va. (WVDN) – THP is pleased to announce an upcoming student engagement event in collaboration with RISE (Reshaping Impact for Students and Employers) and the Growth & Retention Department for Ohio County, West Virginia. 

 
On Friday, April 17, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, THP will welcome college students from across the region to its headquarters for a catered lunch and an informative introduction to the organization. Attendees will learn about THP’s mission, operations, and exciting career opportunities within the company.
 
“This event reflects our strong commitment to connecting with local students and showcasing the professional pathways available right here in the Ohio Valley,” said Kathleen Bali, SVP of Human Resources for The Health Plan. “We are proud to partner with RISE and the Ohio County Growth & Retention Department to help develop and retain talented young professionals in our community.”
 
The event is part of a broader initiative to build meaningful relationships between local employers and higher education institutions.

Participating colleges include:
 
Belmont College 
Bethany College 
Ohio University Eastern
West Liberty University 
West Virginia Northern Community College 
Wheeling University
