LEWISBURG, W.Va. (WVDN) – The Seneca Trail Christian Academy Trailblazers (STCA) brought home the third-place title for the “A” boys’ varsity after taking the win against the Beth Haven Christian School Hornets, 53-24.
STCA played and won the West Virginia Christian Education Association (WVCEA) tournament consolation game that was held at the Summersville Armory on Feb. 24.
The leading scorer was Lantry McClung with 24 points, and he also had a double-double with 10 rebounds.
Other individual scores for the Trailblazers were L. McClung with 24, P. Banton with 10, B. Terry with 8, G. Pyne with 6 and B. Herndon with 5.
Braden Terry and Xander Close were presented with all state awards, and Lantry McClung was given the all-tournament award.
“It was a great season, and we are so thankful that God provided abilities and willingness to work hard as a team,” said head coach Jimmy Banton.
