SATURDAY, MARCH 18: Gershwin meets Brahms! – The Carnegie Classics Series presents Gershwin Meets Brahms! featuring Barbara Nissman with The Montclaire String Quartet at 7:30 p.m. Join Carnegie Hall for more of Nissman’s favorites as she showcases the music of Gershwin and Brahms.
SUNDAY, MARCH 19: AFFRILACHIAN: SELECTED READINGS BY NIKKI GIOVANNI – Carnegie Hall and the Greenbrier Historical Society present Affrilachian: Selected Readings by Nikki Giovanni at 3 p.m. As part of the Carnegie Hall Appalachian Heritage Lecture Series, Giovanni will read selected poetry and prose.
