LEWISBURG (WVDN) – There will be two city meetings on the evening of Tuesday, Feb. 21: the City of Lewisburg Building Commission at 5:30 p.m. and the regular meeting of Lewisburg City Council.

The Building Commission will meet at 5:30 p.m. in the Paul R. Cooley Council Chambers at City Hall, 942 Washington St. W.

Agenda items for that meeting include public works building pay request, approval of March, April, September and January minutes and more.

Later, the Lewisburg City Council will meet in regular session at 7 p.m. in the Paul R. Cooley Council Chambers.

The public is invited to attend the meeting in person or via Zoom. In order to participate via Zoom, contact City Hall at 304-645-2080 for login information by 4:30 p.m. the day of the meeting.

Agenda items include: public works building and water plant project pay requests, McElhenny Road speed zone, planning commission appointment, Greenbrier East High School men’s soccer team grant request, communications from the Lewisburg Downtown Business Association, city worker pay increases and cost of living increase, employee health benefit renewal, department communications and more.
