RONCEVERTE (WVDN) – Rebecca Jonas from Pennsylvania State University invites Ronceverte citizens to participate in an interview or focus group at the Ronceverte Public Library to influence what technology skills will be taught in upcoming classes.
People interested in being in the focus group can sign up for an hour-long presentation about computers, technology and digital skills. This is part of a larger project that will take place at the Ronceverte Public Library over the coming year.
The presentation will describe the project plans to teach digital skills at the library. Multiple time slots for joining the focus group are available.
The first timeslot is on Tuesday, Feb. 7, from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., and the second is on the same day from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Participants will be compensated $20 for completing the program.
Those interested in signing up for the hour-long interview session, where signees will be asked to share their experience and opinions on a variety of topics related to computers and technology, can also do so. Four one-hour timeslots are available for this interview beginning Tuesday, Feb. 7, at 1 p.m., 2 p.m., 5 p.m. and 6 p.m., with each participant being compensated $30 for completing the program.
