LEWISBURG (WVDN) – The Lewisburg Historical Landmarks Commission will hold a public hearing on Monday, Feb. 13, at 5 p.m. at Lewisburg City Hall, 942 Washington Street West. On the agenda: 1031 Washington Street East, paint exterior trim of building; 1108 Washington Street East, replace door and window casings, paint same color as existing paint; city of Lewisburg Confederate Cemetery, McElhenney Road, request to place an iron cross on the Confederate mass grave; 491 Church Street, add a paved driveway on the south end of property on Court Street; 152 Harris Street, build a 2-foot by 2-foot by 2-foot community pantry with shingles, siding, trim and paint colors to match house; 297 Church Street, install wood windows to match existing original windows in kitchen and half bath, replace door with original door in kitchen, patching brick where needed; and 1046 Washington Street, replace awning and paint and repair trim to front of building.
The next meeting of The Lewisburg Historical Landmarks Commission will be on March 13 with a deadline of 12 p.m. on Feb. 24.
