Richard Gerald Fox, 89 years young, went to be with the Heavenly Host on Sunday, November 29, 2015.
He was born in Williamson, WV, on April 13, 1926.
Mr. Fox served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and then became a sign painter. He was a creative genius and traveled doing missionary work.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Shirley Fox; his daughter, Jeanette Biggers of Williamston, NC; and two sons, Staran Lee Fox of Rainelle, WV, and Lemonda Richard Fox of Beckley, WV.
His earthly remains were donated to the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, WV. He wanted to give that others might live.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
