Barbara Lindsey, 80, of Lewisburg, WV, passed away Saturday, November 21, 2015, at the Peyton Hospice House in Fairlea, WV.
Born September 7, 1935, at Ronceverte, WV, she was the daughter of Carl Rodger and Madeline Zell Morgan.
Barbara was a member of the Ronceverte Baptist Church, where she had served as a Sunday School teacher. She had also been a Cub Scout leader and was a retired telephone operator.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Joanna Seldomridge; and brothers, Kent Morgan and Elwood Morgan.
She is survived by her husband, Albert W. Lindsey; children, David Lindsey and wife, Debbie, of Lewisburg, Gregory Lindsey of Ronceverte, and Beth Richmond and husband, Jeff, of Alderson, WV; grandchildren, Ryan Lindsey, Megan Lindsey, Lauren Lindsey, Laken Suttle and husband, Derrick, Jonathan Hatfield and wife, Katie, and Dylan Hatfield; five great-grandchildren; brother, Oscar Morgan of Ronceverte; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday, November 24, 2015, at the Ronceverte Baptist Church in Ronceverte with Pastors Andy Howdock and Gary Baker officiating. Entombment will follow at Greenbrier Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Lewisburg.
Visitation will be from 6-8 PM on Monday, November 23, at Morgan Funeral Home in Lewisburg.
