According to a press release circulated by the West Virginia State Police Troop 6 Commander Captain B.L. Mankins, on Friday, February 13, members of the WV State Police were alerted to the discovery of skeletal remains in an isolated area along Upper Sandlick Road, near Eccles, Raleigh County.
