Elizabeth Ann Fisk, 87, of Ronceverte, WV, died Saturday, December 6, 2014, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Ronceverte.
Mrs. Fisk was born May 16, 1927, in Ronceverte, the daughter of the late Olan Kyle and Katheryn Erwin.
A lifelong resident of Ronceverte, Ann was the organist at the Ronceverte Presbyterian Church from 1942 to 2000 and served as choir director for a majority of that time. She also was an elder of the church, a deacon, a Sunday School teacher, and director of children’s and youth choirs. In addition to her church work, Ann taught piano lessons in her home for over 40 years and served as a Read Aloud volunteer at Ronceverte Elementary School.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Sammie; her husband, Ralph; and her son, Danny.
She is survived by her son, Doug and wife, Jan, of Lewisburg, WV; daughter, Debbie and husband, Russ Bush, of Buckhannon, WV; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a very special friend, Jenny Perry of Fairlea, WV.
Ann’s funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 10, 2014, at 2 PM at the Ronceverte Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Stephen Baldwin officiating. Interment will follow at the McLean Cemetery on Masters Road, Ronceverte.
The family will receive their relatives and friends on Tuesday, December 9, at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Ronceverte from 6-8 PM.
The family suggest that in lieu of flowers, donations of sympathy be made to the Ronceverte Presbyterian Church’s Music Program, 305 Locust Street, Ronceverte, WV 24970.
