Virginia Neely Warren, 98, of Lewisburg, WV, died Saturday, December 6, 2014, at her home after a short illness.
Born April 23, 1916, in Hinton, WV, she was the daughter of the late Fred B. Neely Sr. and Hazeltine Barber Neely.
Virginia was a homemaker, a member of the Clifton Presbyterian Church in Maxwelton, WV, and a 50-year member of Chapter F PEO.
Virginia was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, John Warren; brothers, Robert and Fred B. Neely Jr; and sisters, Louise Lightner and Frances Hibbert.
She is survived by her sons, John Jr. (Ann) of Morgantown, WV, Doug (Patty) of Lewisburg, and Joe (Carolyn) of Lewisburg; grandchildren, Laura Morton, Beth Hundley, Nikki Wang, Kelly Chadbourne, Mark Warren, Carrie Withrow, Leslie Anderson, and John D. Warren; step-grandchildren, Kilbreth Garton-Rhea and Courtney Tritt; 15 great-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, December 9, 2014, at Clifton Presbyterian Church in Maxwelton with the Rev. Janice Johnson officiating. A private burial will precede the service.
