Gladys Marie Webb, 70, of White Sulphur Springs, WV, passed away Saturday, November 8, 2014, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.

Born January 9, 1944, in Lester, WV, she was a daughter of the late Kyle and Oneida Joyce Cochran.

Mrs. Webb was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in White Sulphur Springs. She was a 1962 graduate of White Sulphur High School and during her working years, she was employed at the former Burlington and Hanover Shoe factories in White Sulphur Springs and was a custodian at the church for 10 years. Mrs. Webb loved arts and crafts and loved to be with her family.

Preceding her in death, other than her parents, were a brother, Dillard Cochran; and one sister, Phyllis Judy.

Survivors include her husband, Billy Webb at home; one daughter, Carrie Webb of Neola, WV; four sons, Clifford Webb (Amanda) of Neola, Curtis Webb (Tessa) of White Sulphur Springs, John Webb (Jennifer) of Spring, TX, and Michael Webb (Wanda) of Neola; three brothers, Carl, Denny, and Don, all of Neola; and one sister, Brenda Thompson of White Sulphur Springs.

Services are scheduled for Thursday, November 13, 2014, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Bishop Jeremy Troyer officiating. Burial will follow in Mapledale Cemetery, Route 92, White Sulphur Springs.

Her grandsons will serve a pallbearers.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, November 12, from 6-8 PM at the Shanklin Funeral Home in White Sulphur Springs.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl., Memphis, TN 38105, phone 901-595-3300.

Shanklin Funeral Home is serving the family.
