When doctors told Aaron Vaughan’s mother she was suffering from pancreatitis, she refused to believe it. Having worked the majority of her life as a licensed consultant nurse (LCN), Vaughan’s mother spent two months traveling from specialist to specalist seeking a different opinion until a severe pancreas attack at her daughter’s home in Virginia sent her to the hospital.
