Pastor Joan Wilmer of White Sulphur Springs, WV, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, July 30, 2014, at the Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Ronceverte, WV.
Born August 15, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Richard Andrew Harris and Victoria Francis Colemen.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Carl Harris; sister, Yvonne Pettis; brother, Mark E. Harris; grandson, Chaz Wilmer; daughter, Victoria Wilmer; and grandson, Sidney Wilmer.
Survivors include a son, Charles Wilmer of White Sulphur Springs; daughters, Yvettea Wilmer of Roanoke, VA, Tracie Wilmer of White Sulphur Springs, and Joan Wilmer of Hanover, MD; sons, Anthony Wilmer of Charleston, WV, and Trey Brandon III of Lewisburg, WV; sister, Loretta English of Roanoke; brother, Lawrence Braye of Richmond, VA; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 6, 2014, from 6-8 PM at the House of Prayer Church, 814 Tuckahoe Road, White Sulphur Springs.
A home-going service is scheduled for Thursday, August 7, at 11 AM at Rhema Christian Center, 3584 Davis Stuart Road, Fairlea, WV. Burial will follow in the Old Greenbrier Baptist Church Cemetery in Alderson, WV.
