Genevieve Meadows Spence, 93, of Fairlea, WV, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2014.

Born March 13, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Juanita Meadows.

She was retired from The Greenbrier hotel, where she worked in the salad pantry. Genevieve was a member of Greenbrier Valley Baptist Church in White Sulphur Springs, WV.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Otho Spence.

She is survived by her children, Donald Spence and wife, Marlene, of Springfield, PA, Dorothy Lemons and husband, Ronald, of Lewisburg, WV, and Michael Spence and wife, Sheila, of Fairlea; grandchildren, Anita Green and husband, John, Donnie Spence Jr., Brian Spence and wife, Christie, Gloria Kincaid and husband, Stan, Andrew Lemons and wife, April, Michael Dolan, John Spence, and Jane Ann Spence; great-grandchildren, Christopher Spence, Charlie Spence, Molly Spence, Andrea Lemons, Blaine Adkins, and Ethan
Kincaid; and a very special friend, Darlene Graham.

Services are scheduled for Saturday, July 26, 2014, at 2 PM at Greenbrier Valley Baptist Church with Pastors Lloyd Camp and Ross Gordon officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewood Cemetery in Lewisburg.

Visitation will be from 6-9PM on Friday, July 25, at Morgan Funeral Home in Lewisburg.

Morgan Funeral Home in Lewisburg is in charge of arrangements.
