Madeline Grey Wickline, 93, of White Sulphur Springs, WV, passed away Friday, May 23, 2014, at the White Sulphur Springs Family Care Center.

Born January 10, 1921, in White Sulphur Springs, she was a daughter of the late Clarence C. and Ethel Louise Alderman Bostic.

Mrs. Wickline was a member of Eakle Chapel United Methodist Church and served as a ladies aide at the church. During her working years, she worked at the former Burlington Mills and Hanover Shoe Company.

She was an avid quilter, crocheter, sewer, and loved working with her flowers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Calvin Wickline in 1985; one sister, Aretta Kersey; and three brothers-in-law, Echol Bostic, Jack Bostic, and Carlos Bostic.

Survivors include two daughters, Juanita Williams (Eddie) of White Sulphur Springs and Phyllis Nasser (Mike) of Longwood, FL; one son, Sonny Wickline (Sue) of White Sulphur Springs; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be conducted at 2 PM on Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at the Eakle Chapel United Methodist Church in White Sulphur Springs with the Revs. Don Trent and Ken Peters officiating. Burial will follow at Whatcoat Cemetery in White Sulphur Springs.

Shanklin Funeral Home in White Sulphur Springs is serving the family.
