It has been a difficult year for many Rainelle residents, but now they will have a chance to voice their concerns and discuss their hopes for the future of the town.
Newly elected Republican Delegate Todd Longanacre announced on his Facebook page that he will be at Alfredo’s restaurant in Rainelle on Friday, Jan. 8.
“This will be your opportunity to ask questions about the upcoming legislative session and to share your concerns and issues prior to the start of the full session, which begins on February 10th,” Longanacre’s post stated.
The town-hall meeting will begin at 6 PM.
According to Rainelle Acting Mayor Bill Bell, this meeting should be a great opportunity to hear from residents about their wishes for the future of Rainelle.
“He is positive. He is pumped up and ready to help Greenbrier County and particularly the west end,” Bell said of Longanacre. “I am excited about it.”
Everyone is encouraged to attend and have their voice heard.
