New Ronceverte organization to host city clean-up event Sunday, September 20.
Two local citizens/business owners, Heather Masters and Tanya Hazelwood, decided to take matters into their own hands to help revitalize their hometown.
Starting with a social media group they gathered a band of “merry men” to pick up litter and started the process of forming an official nonprofit organization.
They have already begun working in the community, donating money and helping with fundraisers for the Ronceverte Raiders, a little league football team. This Sunday, September 20, they have organized a group of volunteers to pick up trash in and around Ronceverte.
If you would like to volunteer to help, arrive at 2 p.m. Sunday, September 20, at Wild Child Artworks, 121 W. Main Street, downtown Ronceverte.
