WILLIAMSBURG (WVDN) The next Williamsburg community shooting match will be Saturday, Dec. 3, at 7 p.m. with food concessions open at 6 p.m. Match will be eight rounds, 12-gauge guns only. Full choke, .660 inch minimum. Screw in chokes must be from a recognized supplier (patented) and extend no more than three inches beyond original barrel. Barrel length 34 inches maximum.
First seven rounds are $2 per shot, eighth round 50/50 at $6 per shot. Shooters must compete in the first seven rounds in order to compete in the eighth round.
Fifty-fifty splatter match is $1 per chance between rounds. Cash prizes will be awarded. You do not need to be a shooter to win.
Delicious hot food and refreshments will be available starting at 6 p.m. Families welcomed; you don’t have to shoot to come get a meal.
The match will be held at the Williamsburg Community Building, 6571 Shoestring Trail.
The next match is scheduled for January 7, 2023.
Proceeds will benefit Williamsburg community service projects. Match is sponsored by a joint effort of the Williamsburg Community Action and the Williamsburg Ruritans.
