The merchants of downtown Lewisburg, along with City National Bank, Dinsmore Legal Counsel and the city of Lewisburg, invite you to enjoy 2022’s Magic of Christmas in Lewisburg.

Mark your calendars for six weeks of Christmas spirit from Nov. 19-Dec. 24.

The Magic of Christmas in Lewisburg transforms the downtown into a holiday wonderland from Saturday, Nov. 19-Saturday, Dec. 24.
On any given day during The Magic of Christmas, you will be greeted with holiday cheer including magical decorations, Christmas tree lights and giant snowflakes. Vote for your favorite Christmas window and be entered to win one of five $100 gift certificates to your favorite shop or restaurant.

Saturday, Nov. 19, event schedule:

9 a.m. Jingle Bell Jog benefit 5k for Greenbrier Community School

11 a.m.-6 p.m. Hot donuts from Piggyback Donuts in the alleyway between Harmony Ridge Gallery and Serenity Now Outfitters

11 a.m.-6 p.m. – Visits with Santa! Get your photo taken with Santa at 11 a.m. at the Greenbrier County Visitor’s Center and at 3 p.m. in the green space.

3-7 p.m. – Horse-drawn carriage rides

6 p.m. – Tree lighting ceremony in the green space. Christmas caroling and complimentary candy canes.

  • Start writing those Santa letters in a new and improved mailbox.

  • Shop and restaurant specials, sales, giveaways, holiday treats and more.
  • The Magic of Christmas in Lewisburg is free to the public and kicks off the holiday season in one of America’s Coolest Small Towns.

Lewisburg in Bloom Committee sponsors Christmas tree lighting ceremony

The Lewisburg in Bloom Committee is sponsoring the annual Holiday tree lighting ceremony in the city green space in downtown Lewisburg on Saturday, Nov. 19, at 6 p.m.

Lewisburg will once again “Illuminate Lewisburg” by lighting the Christmas tree, and a Christmas carol sing-along will be led by singer Rene Ley and Greenbrier East High School’s Second Block Rock students. The Lewisburg in Bloom Committee members will pass out candy canes.

Pop-up donuts made fresh by Piggyback Donuts

Tucked in the alley between Harmony Ridge and Serenity Now Outfitters. Look for the giant wreath with donuts. Pick your sugars, icings sprinkles and nuts. Get one, half a dozen or a full dozen!

Horse-drawn carriage rides

Now offering two carriages and even more dates than ever.

Starting with Holiday Open House on Nov. 19 and every Saturday till Christmas, even Christmas eve.

Catch the carriage in the center of downtown Lewisburg every Saturday till Christmas from 3-7 p.m. and Christmas Eve from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
