LEWISBURG (WVDN) – Greenbrier County Republican candidates took home a solid win last night, sweeping the entire ballot.

Democratic incumbent and House Minority Leader Stephen Baldwin was unseated by Republican candidate Vince Deeds for State Senate District 10. In the new 46th District of the House of Delegates, incumbent Republican Mike Honaker beat Democrat Paul Detch; and in the 47th District, incumbent Republican Todd Longanacre beat Democrat Heather Hill. In the 48th District, Republican Caleb Hanna beat Democrat Eric Henson Sebert.

Republicans also dominated the county ticket, with Republican candidate Jamie L. Baker beating incumbent Democrat Louvonne Legg Arbuckle for circuit clerk, Republican Blaine Phillips beating Democrat DeEtta King Hunter for county commissioner, and incumbent Republican Robin Yates Loudermilk winning over Democrat Kayla M. On the national ticket, incumbent Carol Miller (R) beat Lacy Watson (D) for U.S. House of Representatives. Miller also took all of West Virginia with 66.72% of the vote.
