Since the Parkersburg trip, Sauvage is happy with how his girls have bounced back.
“The team has responded really well. They are driven to reach our highest potential and very focused,” Sauvage said.
When asked what players have stepped up their games, Sauvage had a few in mind quickly.
“Dia Sauvage is picking up where she left off last year, one of the best back row players in the state. Gracie Gumm and Alexis Stack are becoming forces at the net. Also, Hailey Ervin is stepping up in our setting role,” he said.
“The goal over the next few weeks is to become better each week. We are focused on getting better than we were the week before. This team is climbing a hill and there is a lot of talent and we are piecing it together. This is an awesome group of young ladies,” Sauvage said.
