Friday, May 13, is “Second Friday” in downtown Alderson where you can meet artisans around town and hear some live music
Due to expected inclement weather, hours for Friday for the Arts will be adjusted to 5:30-7:30 p.m. Featured artists are Letha Heatherly (jewelry/crochet) at Fruits of Labor Cafe, Mary Mitchell (doing a quilting demonstration) at Alderson Artisan’s Gallery, and Cheryl Kula representing local authors at Alderson’s Store. Marcia and Don will provide music at the train depot instead of the Gazebo, and Oceana Carter will be selling her artwork under the pavilion next to the Artisan’s Gallery. Fruits of Labor will be open with a limited menu.
