MCMAHAN
Raymond Roy McMahan of Frankford, WV passed away March 23, 2022 at Hospice Peyton House from complications with Covid.
He was born March 29, 1945 to parents, Ira Lee McMahan and Beatrice Greene McMahan.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Barbara McMahan Freeny; brother, Carl W McMahan; nephews, Tracy Dean and Anthony Dean Pack; nieces, Crystal M. Williams and Thronda Boriey; and brothers-in-law, Roy Dean Pack, Kenneth L Wykle, and Hasten Freeny.
He is survived by his sisters, Wanda McMahan Wykle of White Sulphur Springs, Ruth McMahan Williams (Robert) of Lindside, WV, Shirley Springston (Tony) of Lindside, WV, Delsie McMahan Pack Knicely (Terrence) of Frankford, WV – Delsie was his caretaker for 14 years who he made his home with, Georgia McMahan of Alderson, WV; sister-in-law, Debra McMahan of Peterstown, WV; brothers, Dalford G. McMahan (Kathy) of Union, WV, George R McMahan of Caldwell, WV, Virgil Dale McMahan (Josephine) of Renick, WV; and a very special nephew/brother, when growing up with all the siblings from 16 months old, Jimmy Pierce (Dee Dee) of Lindside, WV. He also leaves behind numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Raymond loves his Lord Jesus Christ. He is asleep in his grave, until his Lord resurrects him at the second coming, when he will meet his Lord in the air. He will be united with his loved ones. 2 Thessalonians 4: 13-18
He was of the Seventh Day Adventist Faith, where he was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Lewisburg.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at 2 p.m. The service will take place at McMahan/Greene Cemetery on Pete Amos Road in Lindside, WV with Pastor Eddie Reyes Officiating.
McCraw Funeral Home of Frankford is in charge of arrangements.
