HOT SPRINGS, Va. (WVDN) — The Bath County Arts Association will open its 61st annual Bath County Art Show on Saturday, June 27, in Hot Springs.

Running through Sunday, July 5, the exhibition will feature fine art from more than 300 regional artists. Admission is free and open to the public. Visitors can browse and purchase more than 900 works spanning oils, watercolors, printmaking, photography, sculpture and more, with all proceeds supporting the arts in Bath County.

“All artwork in the show is available for purchase, and sales directly support the mission of the Bath County Arts Association,” said Libby Robertson, co-chair of the event. “Proceeds provide arts-related community grants, educational programs and scholarships to the Bath County community.”

Now in its sixth decade, the Bath County Arts Association continues to celebrate creativity, support artists and bring the community together through the arts.

“Every year, the Art Show comes to life thanks to the dedication and support of our regional artists, volunteers and community,” said Kate Clark, show co-chair. “As we mark our 61st year, we are honored to carry on this tradition and look forward to welcoming back friends, families and collectors.”

The show will be held at Bath County High School, 464 Charger Lane, Hot Springs. Hours are as follows:

June 27-29: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.; July 2: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., with a Community Night from 4 to 8 p.m.; July 3-4: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.; July 5: 10 a.m. to noon. The show will be closed Tuesday, June 30, and Wednesday, July 1.

The show is non-juried, and artists ages 18 and older are encouraged to exhibit. A youth show is offered for students in grades 6-12. Jeffrey W. Allison of the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts will judge the 2026 show. More than $15,000 in competitive cash prizes will be awarded to participating artists.

In 2025, the art show generated $138,900 in revenue, directly benefiting the Bath County community.
