Rupert Elementary third graders visited Appalachian Headwaters for a fun lesson about amphibians!
It’s a bit warm for woodland salamander activity near the surface, but we saw cool millipedes, beetles, and more under our salamander survey boards, met a long-tailed salamander, and safely caught and shared amphibians and macro invertebrates at our swimming pool pond.
Students also learned about bees, hummingbirds, bats, and so much more!
