WEST VIRGINIA (WVDN) Vandalia Health has named Pat Keel, FHFMA, as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
Keel has extensive experience in financial and operational leadership within complex health care systems.
She comes to Vandalia Health from St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, where she served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since 2016, including also serving as Chief Administrative Officer from 2020 to 2025. She has also served as CFO at health systems in Louisiana, Texas and Illinois.
“Pat has a proven track record of driving operational excellence, strategic planning and process optimization to support organizational growth and mission-driven initiatives,” said Jeff Sandene, Vandalia Health, CEO. “She has vast experience in strategic and long-range planning, managing construction projects and financial operations for academic medical centers. Pat is a perfect fit for Vandalia.”
In recent years, Keel has been named as a “Top 160 Hospital and Health System CFOs to Know” and “Top 130 Women Hospital and Health System Leaders to Know” by Becker’s Hospital Review, as well as Forbes’ Best Non-Profit CFO.
Keel is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association, American College of Healthcare Executives, Wall Street Journal CFO Council, and JP Morgan Healthcare Advisory Council.
